"The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance"...Aristotle
I am an artist living in Chicago. Over time I feel more and more how precious life is and how much beauty there is even in the most mundane things. Seeing the sun through the trees, a flock of birds, the infinite varieties of light and shadow, the lives or insects, and people with their hope and dreams embodied on their faces, makes every day worth living.
